A star is shining brightly in the world of Martial Arts whose name is K.R.Jaackie Shankar KungFu is the rhythm of his breath by which he is trying to materialize his dream of becoming the International champion of martial arts. It was the day of Septemper 4th when he was born and glorified the name of his home town Madurai, Tamilnadu. He was brought up under the care and guidance of his parents Kannan and Vasantha. He completed his doctorate degree in Philosophy of Asian Martial Arts. He gained proficiency in various arts such as Tae Kwon Do ( Korean Art ), Wushu and northern shaolin ( chinese art ) Karate ( japanese art ), Lan Shou Pei ( Shaolin art ). His Master’s name is A.Abdulazeez

He strained every nerve to be at the top and finally the first award which came in his Victory bag was the medal of School board Martial Arts Competition. At the onset of the year 1991 he became the premier Taolu and Sanshou contestant and added feather in the cap of the nation. The period from 1999 to 2007 was the most fortunate time which placed him at the noticeable height of success. He became the unconquered and the triumphant man of this art. Even after achieving many accolades he walked with long strides and leaped high to be at the surmountable height of name and fame.
During the year 1999 K.R.Jaackie Shankar pulled up his socks and kicked his heels to propagate the Martial Arts academic sphere. He organized many district level, state level and national level seminars and competitions. He got an opportunity and hence visited Malaysia in the year 2006. His name and fame shone on the pages of various newspapers and journals and thus he became the star of martial arts within no time.

Sometimes the intelligence and talents of a creative-minded person do not give him as much reward as he deserves. But when the winds of praise come from other quarters of the glob then the deserving person gets the reward of his talents and so is the case of Jaackie Shankar. When he was admired by the words of praise in various regions then his name twinkled as a star on the sky of fame. He is one of them who dedicated himself for the propagation of this excellent skill of Martial Arts and worked hard to achieve the success and height.

1991 - At age of 12 i entered in the style of Budo-Ryu Karate School.

1994 - In the age of 15 started to learn our traditional art Silambam.

1995 -with in four years very early period first time in our Budo-Ryu karate school I got Black Belt got gold medal in the category of 49 kg shiyai conducted by Budo-ryu karate-do. In the same year i joined Shaolin Kung-fu.

1997 - After two years of hard work i got Black Belt in Shaolin kung fu’

1998 - Started open Dojo in the name of “Jackie in Dragon Kung-fu and Silambam School ”.

1999 - I knew bout chinese wushu and part timely learned at chennai and in the mean time i learned gymnastisc.

2000 -

2001 - A short time refreshment course about Jeet Kune do which is conducted by Nepal JKD ass. Participated in the national level wushu kung-fu Tournament in the event of sanda and won the medal. Selected as an Ambassador MAA-I Germany from India. Received I place in the event sanda and won official medal in 2001 national Wushu kung-Festival conducted by CWKFI. Ambassador of the Martial Arts Association International.

2002 - A meeting contacted by CWKFI at Gujarat and recognized as a CWKFI’s Tamilnadu delegate 2002 aword. Commenced tamilnadu Wushu kung-fu associations at chennai inaugurated by mr a.abdul azeez. Received the I place in the event HOU Quan and won the gold medal in 2002 National Wushu Kung-fu festival conducted by CWKFI. Received I place in the event Sanshou and won the gold medal at IV international Wushu Invitational competition 2002, CWKFI selection contest.

2003 - Tamilnadu Judo association recognized me as a Secretary in Dindigul District Judo Association . Awarded the title “ SIFU “ of kung-fu by Martial Arts Association international from Germany.

2004 -Completed the National Referee course from Gymnastics federation of India. Appointed me As a Joint secretary in Dindigul District Gymnastic Association. Received the CHI Award from international Martial arts Association Pakistan.

2005 -Awarded as the man of Martial arts of the year 2005 by Chinese-wushu kung-fu federation of India.

2006 -Participated in first world junior Wushu championship at Malaysia as a representative of India.

2007 -going to Malaysia for learned advanced techniques in Kung-fu. Sort time intensive course for Muay THAI. at Thailand.
